The north face
The North Face was founded in 1966 in San Francisco by Douglas Tompkins, first as a store selling climbing and camping gear. The brand went on to design its own technical equipment for expeditions, with icons such as the Nuptse down jacket, and its Half Dome logo became a fixture of both mountains and cities. Today it continues to supply explorers while remaining a mainstay of street style.
